Barnabas Aid reports 12 killed in Nigeria's Benue State

Barnabas Aid reports, in a news item dated October 14, that 12 people, including a three-year-old child, were killed by Islamists in Nigeria's Christian-majority Benue State. TheTimes.com.ng, a Nigerian outlet, says machete-wielding Fulani militias killed 12 Christians in Otukpo and Ukum counties. Atlantic Digest reports that nine people died in the Ukum raid, two days after three were killed in Otukpo, among them a three-year-old. Barnabas Aid also reports a pastor shot dead on his way to church in Plateau State this month. Grieve alongside these families as they mourn their loved ones, and pray that God holds the survivors and their churches close.
