Oregon Bishops Offer Prayers After Elementary School Shooting

OSV News reports that Oregon's Catholic bishops expressed sympathy and encouraged the community to support those affected by a shooting at an elementary school that left five dead and two wounded. The outlet's report on the Silver Rail school shooting ran October 16. A school shooting lands hardest on families and teachers, and on the churches that will sit with them for months. Pray for the families of the five who died, for the two who were wounded, and for the pastors and priests in Oregon carrying this grief.
